Battery-grade lithium hydroxide monohydrate is mainly used to prepare NCM cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries, and the anhydrous form is more suitable for scenarios such as high-nickel NCM cathode materials.
Both are white crystalline powders, but the monohydrate easily absorbs moisture and carbon dioxide in the air.
